On a beautiful and sunny day in Mizak, the students from the the first two Electricity training classes joined in a group picture with Rev. Aguilh, their teacher, after receiving their Electrician Assistant certificates.

"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each person should give what he/she decided in his/her heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Cor. 9: 6-7
If you have opened this page for the first time in order to make an on-line donation, may we suggest that you please take a minute to first look at the WHAT YOU CAN DO page to better understand the needs of HHH and how you can help us to meet them.
THANK YOU!
Thank you for your donation to Haiti Hope House. We truly and sincerely appreciate it.
It is impossible to express in words what it means to us, but more importantly, what it means to the children and young adults in Haiti. Even though you do not know any of them and they don’t know you, they understand that you are the ones who make it possible for them to go to school, or to stay in school, or to be trained in skills such as Electrical House Wiring, Project Management, Basic Computer Skills, English Translation, and even English as a Second Language (ESL).
On behalf of them, again, we say THANK YOU.
We have made it as easy and convenient as possible for you to make a secure and private on-line donation to Haiti Hope House by using a debit or a credit card. You can make a one time tax deductible donation to HHH, or you can set up a recurring donation which will be charged to your credit card automatic at the designated interval. Please donate below:

Your donation will go toward buying books and uniforms, pay for tuition for the Haitian children like this young boy in the first picture. His name is Clarensky. He entered the program in the 2019-2020 school year in the 3rd grade. This year he is in the 5th grade. He is working toward completing Elementary School next year..
Your donation could also support the education of that beautiful girl in the second picture. Her name is Daphca. She entered the Program in 2019 in the 4th grade. She was only 8 years old. She is now in the 6th grade and will complete Elementary School this year.
Clarensky is a quiet boy, and he is very smart. Since he entered the Program, he has maintained a good average. For the first two years, his marking period scores average between 7.0 and 7.5 For the first marking period so far, his average has gone down to 6.0 for some reason (may be because of the many interruptions to school activities due to the unrest). I believe that with stability in the school schedule, the grades will go back up.
|
Daphca is not only beautiful, she is also smart. She is averaging 6.5 for each marking period thus far. If she continues this way, she will be with us for another three years, until the completion of 9th grade.
It will be great if we could find a sponsor for her. |
Please be mindful that in Haiti grades are scored on a scale of 10, with passing grade in most schools being 5.00/10.
It would be so good to have a sponsor for Clarensky, specially when he completes Elementary School and enters the 3rd cycle (7th to 9th grade) when the cost for tuition is higher.
We hope to continue our support for him until he completes the 9th grade.
These are but two of many examples of children, who were it for the Haiti Hope House Education Program, would not have gone to school or stayed in school.

Your donation is also used for buying training materials for young adults such as Ultide, a pleasant and gifted young lady, seen at right receiving from Rev. Aguilh her certificate after completing the English Translation class.
Right now we are urgently in need of funds to purchase relevant books for the library. We have received many requests for specific books which we are not yet able to fulfill. It will be a blessing if you can help us in that area of need. |
Once again, on behalf of the children, and the young adults, and the entire community of Mizak, Haiti,
we thank you for your generosity.
Again remember that If you wish to designate your gift for a specific purpose such as education, sponsoring a child for one year or more, sponsoring a HHH's volunteer travel to Haiti, for the HHH Learning Center Operation Fund, or to help with any of our other needs, please feel free to do so when you make a donation to HHH. You can be certain that your wish will be respected.
Or if you are sending a check instead of making a donation on-line, you can include a memo on your check when you mail your donation to:
