Rev. Franck Aguilh, Chairperson of Haiti Hope House
Rev. Aguilh was born and raised in Haiti, He has been living in the U.S. for more than 50 years. He is an Elder in Full Connection of the United Methodist Church and member of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference. In June 2010, he retired prematurely from parish ministry in order to devote himself entirely to the "Haitian Situation". Reverend Aguilh has an Electrical Engineering degree and a Master in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. He has a Master Certificate in Project Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology in collaboration with the AT&T School of Business & Technology. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He earned a Master of Divinity degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Drew University, Madison, New Jersey, in May 2003. Rev. Aguilh has served as Assistant Pastor and as Senior Pastor at New Jersey's Methodist churches in Newark, Weehawken, South Orange, and Montclair. He has been traveling a lot to Haiti, twenty three (23) trips so far, since the earthquake, twenty two (22) to Mizak to conduct training classes for the young adults, and oversee the children education program. His last trip was in October 2020. Because of the current conditions in Haiti, he does not know when his next trip will be.

Dr. Michael Stewart, Treasurer
Dr. Michael Stewart formerly worked as a trader/salesperson and manager for JPMorgan Chase in New York. Until his early retirement in 2015, he led a middle office team that provided special services to institutional clients across the globe. Michael has more than 25 years’ experience in investment banking in the bond markets – government and corporate. He is a board member of Haiti Hope House, Inc., - an organization that provides funding and training to local schools in the Mizak community of rural Haiti. He is both the treasurer and youth director of the First United Methodist church of Montclair, New Jersey.
For community involvement, he runs a soup kitchen in the winter months of January to April; providing freshly made soup at no cost.
Dr. Stewart has recently joined the adjunct faculty in the business division of Essex County College where he specializes in teaching the essentials of investments.
He continues to help shape the lives of children for the 21st century through mentoring in both the US and his native Jamaica. Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and his MBA in Financing from Rutgers University. He earned a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

Mrs. Langirene Aguilh, Secretary
Mrs. Aguilh is the wife of Rev. Aguilh. She was born in Haiti, and has been living in the United States for over forty years. Mr. Ivan W Kelly
Mr. Kelly worked for the New York City Transit Authority Emergency Response, Road Car
Inspector and 911 Haz Mat Team. For 33 years his duties included responding and handling
mechanical failures of the Subway System and other situations regarding hazardous
conditions for the City of New York.
Before that, he worked as an Electrician for the Conrail Railroad Northeast Corridor where
his duties were to diagnose and repair electrical failures and other electrical issues regarding
Conrail trains in the Northeast Corridor of the United States.
Mr. Kelly also worked as an Aerospace Technician for Lockheed Aircraft. He was assigned in
Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Middle East serving as part of a team responsible for
diagnosing and repairing electrical and technical issues regarding their Aircraft. He served in
Vietnam as a member of the United States Air Force assigned as an Airplane Technician
responsible for repairs, servicing and maintenance of Military Aircrafts.
Mr. Kelly Attended University of Maryland, Penn State, New York City Community College of Technical Science where he pursued a
degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional, civic, and religious affiliations include:
Community Organizer and Leader, NAACP Board Member, Haiti Hope House Board Member, The Most Worshipful Prince Hall of the
State of New York Free and Accepted Masons, Ancient Egyptian Arabic order Noble of the Mystic Shrine Incorporated.
Currently, Mr. Kelly owns and operates his own business: Defensive Driving Instructor for American Safety.
Mr. Kelly has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Haiti Hope House since 2015.

Pastor Geralda Aldajuste
Pastor Geralda completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ obtaining a B.A in Psychology. And later the following year obtained a degree in Mortuary Science at American Academy McCallister Institute of Funeral Service located in New York, NY.
In May 2012 she graduated from Drew University Theological Seminary with a M. Div. While at Drew she did her supervised ministry at St. Matthew A.M.E Church in Orange, NJ under the mentoring guidance of Bishop Reginald Jackson. She also participated in the Shalom training initiative, an United Methodist grass-root organization.

Dr. Joy Traille has been a microbiologist for more than thirty years. She served as the director
of Microbiology for the Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital. Joy made a big career change in
September 2003, when she opened her home care business; Comfort Keepers. Joy knows first
hand about the joys and challenges of caregiving. She cared for her mother throughout her long
period of illness with a debilitating heart condition. Joy’s mother died at age 62 and Joy was
motivated to open a Comfort Keepers office to honor her mother’s memory.
In 2008, Joy's Comfort Keepers was awarded Franchise of the Year by the International Franchise
Association. In 2009 Joy was awarded the Quality of Life award by the Hudson Valley Gateway
Chamber of Commerce.
Joy’s Comfort Keepers business continues to be a blessing to clients and employees throughout
Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam Counties.

Mr. Richard Figaro
Mr. Figaro currently works as a Construction Manager with New York’s main Utility Company (CECONY). He has more than 30 year of experience in the field of Public Improvement – Municipal projects, Substation and Transmission Feeder Design with a focus on subsurface construction. A Civil Engineer by training, he joined the Board of Haiti Hope House Inc. – with a desire to aid and enhance the provision of funding and training to deserving students in the Mizak Community. He is a member of the Bethel Gospel Tabernacle Church in Jamaica, Queens.
Richard serves his resident community of West Hempstead as a Soccer coach and Assistant Boy Scout of America Troop Leader, and fully believes in the profound influence positive adult role models have in the development of today’s adolescents and young adults. He has often said, that if he were not an Engineer, he would be a Teacher. A noble and valuable profession he observed through his mother’s dedication as a Secondary School teacher for over 43 years.
A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Richard is also the Son-in-Law of Rev. Franck Aguilh and had the privilege of visiting the Learning Center in Mizak with his wife, Dr. Toycina Aguilh-Figaro, during a 2019 Medical Missions trip to Haiti in 2019.
